Jalapeño did test positive for FIV, but because she is still so young, it could possibly be a false positive. She is beautiful.  He has beautiful gray eyes and sometimes they even look blue.  he is a purr machine.  he has four other siblings and would love to have another playmate in the home.  he is good with other cats and does not seem to mind the dog, but they have not been put together.  he is use to older children but is very playful so would do well with children.  He uses the cat box and has no real vices.  He is a cuddle bug and wants to be with you.  He is the only boy of the litter so most of the time his sisters are more dominant.  He is more patient and not as rambunctious.

If you are interested in meeting Jalapeno, please contact her foster mom, Debbee, by emailing her at harrdebb01@aol.com  or by texting her at 321-239-8482

Jalapeño  is available for adoption through Orange County Animal Services.  Her adoption fees will never be more than $40 and in most cases will be lower (please inquire about any specials).  Her adoption fees include her spay surgery, microchip, shots/vaccines, FIV and FelV combo testing, and a rabies vaccine.  Don’t forget that it is BOGO for any cat or kitten adopted.  In most cases, they enjoy the company of other pets in the household.

More about Jalapeno

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Somewhat vocal, Likes to be in your lap, Playful, Timid, Affectionate, Even-tempered, Gentle

Special Needs: FIV is an autoimmune disorder. This means that the cat has a suppressed immune system and must be kept on a healthy diet and not be exposed to external diseases. They can live long healthy lives if kept indoors. FIV can only be transmitted to another cat (and only through aggressive biting and blood drawing), so a home with no cats, or with dogs, or possibly with another FIV+ cat would be ideal.
