Welcome to Kindness For Cats, Inc!

KFCI is a small group of foster parents who volunteer for Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) in Orlando, FL.  We provide safe, comfortable and stress-free environments for at least a few of the countless kittens and cats abandoned at the shelter and attempt to find them permanent loving homes while in our care.  Please click on the "Kittens & Cats" tab at the top of the page for photos and information about our furry friends available for adoption.

KFCI also promotes spaying and neutering, the key to combating the heart-wrenching problem of unwanted pet over-population and so many deaths of healthy, friendly kittens and cats. We believe that education and information for all pet owners is also imperative. We've created this website in part to provide resources for those seeking information on a variety of cat topics.

Check out our page Highlights & Accomplishments to learn more about what we do!  Thank you for visiting!

**Please note: KFCI is unable to take in cats and kittens outside of Orange County Animal Services.  We are a very small group whose main focus is on the feline population at OCAS due to the thousands of stray or surrendered cats and kittens euthanized there every year.  We have created and linked many resources on this website hoping to help those of you needing assistance.  Please see the "Cat Care" & "Resources" menu at the top of this page for a list of information.

Hi, my name is Valentine. I was pregnant when I was rescued and now that my litter is grown, I am ready to start a life of snuggles and cuddles. I am a smaller kitty, with gorgeous, soft silver/gray fur. I am extremely affectionate and I love to be cuddled and have my belly rubbed. I will look for more about Valentine
Sylvie is such a great mama to her beautiful kittens, Sunny and Lucy! Sylvie is a quiet and well-mannered young cat. She’s shy at first, cautious in new environments, but warms up quickly and seeks affection from the humans around her. She’s a beautiful, petite cat who appears to be in more about Sylvie
Meet Sprite also known as Tank!  He has graciously accepted the nickname "Tank" due to his size as he is a big boy at 14 pounds.  But being big also means that much more love to go around and let me tell you this sweet boy is FULL of love. All it takes is one look and he more about Sprite
