Update -- August 11, 2013 -- Beautiful Star has been adopted!!  Thank you to Dottie for giving this lovely girl a 2nd chance at a happy life!!

Star -- Beautiful petite Siamese girl approx 3 years old! Her pictures don't do her justice with her clear brilliant blue eyes and her striking markings! And as soon as I get near her to try to take pictures she comes right up to give me head butts making taking pictures of her rather challenging to say the least!! She's a little tentative in new surroundings and around new people but if you give her time and patience you will be well rewarded for your efforts.  She is a sweetheart and when given a chance she will purr and lay quietly in your lap as long as you like.  And she loves her treats, which she'll take gently from your fingers. She also loves to have her chin and base of her ears scratched, quite the content girl!
Star gets along fine with other cats as long as a proper introduction is made. And she's certainly had the practice being mama to several of the kittens we currently have for adoption (Silver, Snookie, Trix & Spice). They are all sweet kittens with distinct winning personalities, Mama Star did a great job raising them!  But motherhood is behind her as she is now spayed and of course also vaccinated and tested negative for feline leukemia/aids.  
Star is litterbox trained and doesn't scratch furniture, instead likes to stretch her front paws on a sisal twine scratching post and on the Turbo scratcher. She's an indoor cat and hopes to remain so, protected from hazards of the outdoors. And she's so ready to go home with her new family where hopefully she will receive a lot more attention than she received at her foster mom's home where she had to share space and time with quite a few other foster kittens and cats!!
