Update -- January 27, 2012 -- Hugo has been adopted!!

Hi, My name is Hugo! I'm a big lover boy, AFTER I learn I can trust you! I came to my foster mom timid but still wanting to love and be loved on!! And it was like I wasn't sure if playing was allowed! My foster mom thinks my previous owner was not gentle with me, well actually probably pretty rough with me!! I want to get in your lap and cuddle and also to play but sometimes when I play I'll also bite, not mean bites but bites like a kitten learns when people play rough with them. My foster mom has been working with me on this and I've shown such quick improvement she is astonished!! So the best adopter for me is someone who truly is a cat person and understands kitten/cat behavior and will encourage my good behavior (and there is a lot of that, since I really do want you to love me!!) while discouraging the not so good behavior, and NOT by punishing! Again my foster mom thinks whoever had me before taught me these rough play habits but then punished me for the very things they taught me ... no wonder I am confused as to if it's okay to paly and the right way to play!!

And I am a very playful, goofy guy once I think it's okay with you! And I get along very well with other kittens and cats, the more to play with!! I'm litterbox trained and don't scratch furniture, instead I like to stretch my front paws on a sisal twine scratching post and on the Turbo scratcher. I'm an indoor kitten and prefer to remain so, protected from hazards of the outdoors. And I'm so ready to go home with you! And hopefully there will be another kitten or cat already there for me to play with when you're at work or busy! If not perhaps you'd consider adopting another as a companion for me? Two kittens are double the fun of one, and half the effort as we can take care of each other when you're too busy or tired to play with us!!). My adoption fee is only $40.
