Update -- December 2, 2011 -- Mikey has been adopted!!
Hi, I'm Mikey!   I'm a very handsome boy with my striking black tabby markings accentuated by the white!  And I am very, VERY affectionate!!  I will rub up on you, climb into your lap or follow you around hoping you'll give me a little love!  And I will return that love tenfold!  I was a little reserved when I first came to my foster mom, maybe still in shock from being at the "shelter" (a very scary place for someone who is used to being someone's pet!).  I get along with other cats, after a proper introduction, but still like them to know who is top cat (which hopefully will be me!).  I have no issue with kittens as you can see from my pictures!  Perhaps I feel a little threatened by adult cats which is why I try to act like the boss of the feline household.  I'd do fine in an only cat, as long as you're able to give me love and attention. I am very "low maintenance" in that though I love attention I don't require the care, training and attention needed by a kitten.  But I still have my kittenish moments, especially that I still love to play.  I especially love feather toys! I'm litterbox trained and don't scratch furniture, instead I like to stretch my front paws on a sisal twine scratching post and on the Turbo scratcher. I'm an indoor cat and prefer to remain so, protected from hazards of the outdoors. And I'm so ready to go home with you! Won't you give me a chance, so many people pass me by for the youngsters but I promise to be a loving companion to you! My adoption fee is only $40; please email for more information.
