Abigail is a beautiful golden (orange) kitten. She is not a lapcat. She is a kitten who likes to run and play catch me if you can. When you do catch her she will allow you to hold her and snuggle. She will not come to you for snuggles. She does play with the other foster kittens and gets along with the resident cats and tolerates the large dog (basically, she ignores the dog, who ignores her). Abigail does not eat in front of you but she will eat after you leave the area. She is truly an unusual kitten. Abigail is very sweet and will make a purrfect addition to a family that is extremely patient and allows her to take her time getting to know the family, the routine, the sounds, and smells of a new environment. She does not like loud or sudden sounds. She will do well with a family with older kids or adults only. She will not do well in a home with young kids or babies. Abigail does play with the other foster kittens, specifically Hiccup, who is also available and posted online. Abigail does much better when she has another kitten around. If you are interested in meeting Abigail please contact the foster Mom at 321-331-6431 or kjdaubney@gmail.com. Please be sure to provide some information about your family, kids, other pets, and living environment, so we can know more about you and here this little ball of love may possibly be living. If not adopted before Friday, 9/5 you will be able to meet Abigail at the Kindness for Cats Adoption event Saturday, 9/6. Check out Kindnessforcats.org. For an adoption fee of $50 you can take home 1 or 2 new family members, as kittens are BOGO. The adoption fee includes initial vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter, FIV/FELV testing, a free rabies shot (to be scheduled by the adopter).
