Fig came to the shelter at the end of May with some injuries and a kitty cold. She has been treated and has since healed and is now old enough for adoption and ready to find a home. She is very active and playful. Because she was on cage rest while healing from her injuries, she is really enjoying her freedom to run around and play. She can play a little rough, and we’re still working on correcting that, so for that reason I don’t recommend a home with very young kids or an older cat who wants to be left alone. She would do great with a kitten play mate or an active young adult cat. She enjoys toys, playing, and will purr as soon as she sees you. If you want an active and fun kitten, Fig would be perfect! Adoption is $50.00 and includes the spay(neuter) surgery, initial vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leuk/FIV testing. To meet this kitty please email his/her foster mom at: FosterCare@ocfl.net. Cats and Kittens are always BOGO and 2 kittens are twice the fun and no more trouble. Please share with us where the kitty will be living and with whom (children, other animals) so we can know a little bit more about you.
