Miss Penny was surrendered to us as an adult cat and so not a lot is known about her previous life. From her time in foster care we have discovered that she is an incredibly food and love motivated cat. She enjoys being the center and focus of your attention and will happily curl up in a human lap or on the arm of the couch. She loves playing in boxes and will chase toys depending on the quality of the throw. Upon intake examination it was discovered that Penny has a heart murmur and at her age it could mean a lot of different things. We suggest following up with a Veterinarian after adoption to determine if further testing or possible treatment is recommended for her. This has not slowed her down in the slightest – she will happily give you her opinion (typically about meal time) and will gently paw at your hand when she believes that hand should be scratching her on the chin. She is comfortable in a home with other cat friends (we unsure about her past experiences with dogs though). Penny’s adoption fee is $40; which includes her spay surgery, shots and microchip.
