Middy is a 3 year old black domestic short hair who is looking for her furever home.
Middy was brought to the shelter after her owner passed away. Middy was stressed out in the shelter environment and so she came to stay with her foster family. Almost immediately after being in foster care, Middy came out of her shell and started letting her personality shine. Middy has a very loving and playful nature and she would love having exclusive attention from her family. Middy would do best in a single cat household* or in a household where her fellow fur siblings will be patient as she settles in. Middy is very food motivated and enjoys both wet and dry food. She is also a very well hydrated kitty, so she needs a family who can make she sure gets access to fresh water often. Middy knows how to use the litter box, and scratch pad; she loves cat nip toys and enjoys nothing more than receiving lots of back scratches and belly rubs. She is a talkative kitty who enjoys burrowing under the blanket and she also enjoys time on the screened in patio.
Middy enjoys being outside and so if you have a screened in patio area or somewhere for her to explore the outdoors safely she would love that, however Middy should be an indoor cat. She loves to watch birds and lizards from the window, playing with cat nip toys and using a scratch pad. She loves curling up on your lap to receive pets and she adores belly scratches. This sweet girl is eager to get back into a furever home.
Middy is available for adoption and would love to meet you. If you would like to set up a meet and greet please contact her foster at bronwynjaqui@gmail.com. Middy's adoption fee from OCAS is only $40. This includes her microchip, vaccines including rabies, and Feline Leukemia/FIV testing (she is negative for both!).
