Monty is a big sweet boy with a very funny, laid-back personality. He was left at the shelter when his owner died and was so depressed that he stopped eating, so I took him as a foster. After a few weeks Monty put on weight and began to show his very unique, and sometimes lovably cantankerous, personality. See the short video of him being held by his foster mom below. Monty LOVES to be brushed and petted and will roll back and forth on his back meowing and beg for more. He really likes to be around people. If you are looking for a companionable, couch-potato buddy to watch Netflix with, Monty is your guy. He's declawed and up to date on all shots, and despite his size seems to be in excellent health. Monty also makes an appearance in the Kitten School YouTube video link posted below!

Kitten School foster home is located 5 miles south of downtown Orlando. Reach out to his foster mom Caroline to schedule a time to come meet him and other available cats and kittens!

How to meet this kitty: Reach out DIRECTLY via text to foster mom Caroline at 407-340-7668 or email Caroline.St.Clair@gmail.com

Adoption details: All Kitten School foster cats are adopted through Orange County Animal Services (OCAS). Adopters must go in person to OCAS to complete application prior to taking their cat home. OCAS is located near the Millennia Mall off Conroy.

Adoption Fee: Free, as Monty is considered a senior cat. Includes spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, FIV testing, and microchip.

Additional Adoption Notes: OCAS and Kindess for Cats are vehemently opposed to declawing cats. Any cat or kitten adopted through us must not be declawed. Adoptions are first come, first serve based on eligibility. Please make sure you are certain that having a cat or kitten will suit your lifestyle before adopting; it is not fair to the animals who are returned due to circumstances that should have been foreseen, such as allergies, grumpy roommates, or landlord issues.
